That’s why it would be VERY PLEASANT for us, if instead of the only question: "What is the price of your puppies?" you told about yourselves and your previous experience with the dogs. Whether you have owned Frenchies earlier, and if not why you have decided to get a French Bulldog. Specify whether you’d like to get a pet or you are going to show and maybe breed him (her) in a future.

Please, tell the possible information on the members of your family, other home animals, whether there are the nonworkers in your family (whom the puppy will be all day with), what country and city you live in.

Our adult dogs go through a complete medical examination before breeding. These tests include spine and hips x-rays to prove against dysplasia and any spine problems, eyes examination for cataract and other issues.

We provide our puppies with a medical examination, required vaccinations, non-breeding contract, a strong health guarantee and a lifetime puppy support. You are always welcome to meet the parents of the litter.

Please, note that we live in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and we require all new puppy owners to come and pick up the puppy in person. This way we know our puppies will get safe to their new homes and we also get to know the future owners of our puppies in person.

Beware of Import-Brokers, Puppy-Mills and "Backyard" Breeders who present themselves on bill boards online as Reputable Breeders!

Reputable Breeders are not only members of Canadian Kennel Club and have their kennel registered with CKC, but they also compete with their dogs at the dog shows, they always do thorough health tests of their dogs before breeding, they are known and recommended by other reputable breeders, and always follow CKC and FBFC Code of Ethics. Reputable Breeder will never advertise their dogs on the online bill board. Some of them have their own websites and all of them are recommended by the word of mouth.

Reputable Self-respecting Breeders will never breed and sell MOUSE (blue) and LIVER (chocolate) colored french bulldogs! These colors are completely disqualified under the CKC standard for French Bulldogs. These colors are not RARE, as their "breeders" claimed, and eventually result in serious genetical health issues on the dog. People who buy low-budget puppies from Import-Brokers, Puppy-Mills and "Backyard" Breeders, or super-high budget puppies from Breeders of Blue/Chocolate ("RARE") french bulldogs, in reality support their "business" and undermine years of selective breeding work made by Reputable Breeders. Recent popularity of French Bulldogs brought a huge amount of Import-Brokers, Puppy-Mills and "Backyard" Breeders into the market and we started getting lots of emails from people, who bought their dogs through online bill-boards and other classified media, and now are asking us for help in resolving their multiple health issues that cost them a fortune in addition to suffering they have to go through together with their pet and of course their "breeder" suddenly disappears, by changing the address and phone number, or simply refuses to help in any way.

The best way to find a Reputable Breeder is to visit local dog shows (see CKC event search link on our WebLinks page) or contact French Bulldog Fanciers Club of Canada for a list of breeders in your area.
